The boy is back

February 29th, 2008 by timhill

After 3 weeks off following my radical mastoidectomy on 7th Feb, I’m fully back in action as from now.

My right ear cavity is still stuffed with antiseptic material that is itchy and annoying. The 8cm scar behind my ear is still sore but I’ve had enough of rest :-)

I’ll be at our Advice Surgeries tomorrow morning so hope to see you there.

Sick leave

February 27th, 2008 by timhill

Should be back in action on Monday 3rd March.

Stuff in right ear cavity is now just itchy and annoying. 8cm scar is now just very sore rather than very, very, very sore.

February 15th, 2008 by timhill

I’m on sick leave following a radical mastoidectomy on my right ear on 7th Feb.

Bone and muscle grafts and under anesthetic for nearly 4 hours :-(

Should be back in action on 25th Feb 08.

Thanks to John Edwards

February 1st, 2008 by timhill

John has decided to suspend his campaign.

I’d just like to record my thanks to him for speaking up for those who are too often forgotten in American Presidential races - the poor, the voiceless and the under-priveleged.

My hope now is that Hillary Clinton will keep to her pledge to John to make fighting poverty a central part of her campaign.

I’m pleased to report that a couple of residents rang me last night to thank me as the light is now back on.

Amazing what a bit of co-ordination can do :-)
