I am extremely pleased to report that at a special Full Council Meeting on Wednesday 27 March 2013, Full Council virtually unanimously passed my proposal to change the Ward Name to Elstow and Stewartby.

This was the necessary third stage approval for my proposal to help make Stewartby’s voice even louder than it is now.

From that evening onwards, our Ward is now Elstow and Stewartby Ward.

I am very pleased with this result and wish to thank Stewartby Parish Council for their active support and that of every resident who registered their support for my proposal with the Borough Council. I also wish to thank Elstow Parish Council for raising no objection.
